Uncluttered, unfettered by all concerns.
All the birds which fly in my sky
Must be brought down in a rush.
Now! Having accomplished that,
With not a stress upon the line of my thoughts....
The lead in my pencil breaks!
Love alone dissolves the cords of misery's hard making.
That calloused mind cannot receive the kindest reaching out.
The doors are closed to sharing... it fills itself with doubt.
The nature of the human heart is such it searches blind,
Looking with despairing eyes for someone who is kind.
But often in the course of time, by constant tenderness,
That hardened heart its glaze will turn, suspect love..then repress.
Caring found, it tests the source, resists love in fear of pain,
Unaware, dimly hoping love will be sustained.
The time of test completed, proving then love's grace,
The unbeliever welcomes trust, so offers warm embrace.
Near the end, then restarted
Preferences aside, I blazed ahead
Consumed in creation,
The hard drive is dead.
for this boy in the wood.
Hid deep in the bark a cosmos of good.
Elixirs to cure all the ills of the mind,
Tonics to grant new sight to the blind.
All these concealed in the rings of a tree,
Waiting for man to agree.
