The USA is standing at a crossroads!
What will become of the USA?
We live in a time of great turmoil, a time of multi-level threats to the character and existence of America as it has been known. The very foundations of the country are under assault. We have a president who has vowed to change the "very foundations of this country."
Founded as a Christian nation, the culture is under attack from secularism, Islamism, militant homosexuality, multi-sexuality, atheism, moral rot and apathy. That is not a complete list.
On top of the above threats, we have an administration that seems inexorably to be driving us toward full-blown socialism. Having engineered the government takeover of the two major automakers; the government takeover of the healthcare industry; and now attempting to take over the financial industry, the freedom that our founders invisioned is being eradicated.
If this direction is not reversed, this once proud nation will become a footnote on the ash heap of history as the underpinnings are broken down and the edifice collapses.
What is to be done?
There needs to be a rebirth of the mind and culture this country was founded on. Individuals need to return to a faith in Christ, the very Son of God, and learn what it is to be a disciple of the Risen Lord.
There needs to be a return to the fierce independence of the Founding Fathers and their love of freedom, combined with self-reliance. We need to reign in and pare back the involvement of government in our daily lives.
As a nation, we need to repent of the immorality we have allowed to take root and spread in our country, and seek the help of the righteous God to cleanse us and make us whole again: First as individuals and second, as a nation.
In the future I plan to add a great deal more to these comments, as long as the freedom exists to do so. If we have that great spiritual awakening that has saved this country before, that freedom will remain. Otherwise, it won't be long before everything we write on the internet will be scrutinized and censored.
